Terms of Use

Arc Journey is a habit tracker. Tasks, streaks, all six domains and daily reminders are free. A subscription adds the full weekly review, your complete history, arc summaries and extra streak freezes. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you cancel in your Apple account rather than through us.
Who you are agreeing with
Arc Journey is operated by Yersultan Sabyrkhanov, an individual developer based in Kazakhstan ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Arc Journey.
What the app does
Arc Journey records the tasks you choose and the days you complete them, and produces a weekly reading of that record — which day you tend to miss, which task is rarely done, which domain is declining. These readings are generated from your own data by simple statistical rules.
They are observations, not advice. Arc Journey is not a medical, psychological, financial or professional service, and nothing in it is a diagnosis or a treatment. If something in your life needs professional help, talk to a professional.
Free and paid
These are free, with no time limit and no task cap:
- Unlimited tasks and your own daily goal
- Streaks, arcs and all six domains
- Daily reminders
- One streak freeze
- One reading from each weekly review
A Pro subscription adds the full weekly review every week, your complete history rather than the most recent fortnight, arc summaries when a cycle closes, and three streak freezes instead of one.
Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm anything, and the price and billing period are displayed on the purchase screen next to the button that starts the subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
- Automatic renewal. The subscription renews for the same period at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Renewal charges are taken within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling is done in your Apple account settings — Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iOS. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- After cancelling you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
Free trial
Where a free trial is offered, the length is shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts into a paid subscription at the price shown and your Apple account is charged. Cancel at any point during the trial and you pay nothing. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription before it ends.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple and are subject to their policy. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your content
The tasks you write remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store them and to compute your streaks, arcs and reviews. We do not claim ownership and we do not use your content for anything else.
Do not use Arc Journey to store anything unlawful, and do not attempt to break into, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
There are no accounts, and what that means
Arc Journey identifies your device rather than you. There is nothing to sign in to and nothing to recover a lost record with: if you delete the app or reset the device, the link to your history is usually lost permanently. Please read this as a real limitation rather than boilerplate.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change, and a feature may be withdrawn. If a paid feature is withdrawn during a period you have paid for, contact us.
Liability
Arc Journey is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data arising from the account-free design described above. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending these terms
You may stop using Arc Journey at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access if the service is used unlawfully or in a way that damages it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. If you use the app as a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove the protections of the mandatory consumer law where you live.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the revised terms.
